Hi, I’m Ryan Murdoch
Ryan’s approach to building is defined by a twenty-year evolution from the studio to the job site. His journey began in Ontario, where he earned a diploma in Fine Art from Georgian College, grounding his work in aesthetics and creative problem-solving. Seeking to bridge art with structure, he moved west to complete a diploma in Architectural Technology at the Pacific Design Academy in Victoria. Since entering the trades in 2003, Ryan has earned his Red Seal as a Journeyman Carpenter, but he didn't stop at the workbench. To ensure he could lead complex projects from the first shovel-turn to the final inspection, he completed a certificate in Applied Project Management at Camosun College. This unique pedigree allows Ryan to speak the language of architects, artists, and sub-trades alike—ensuring every Kootenay build is as organized as it is beautiful.
